What you should know before you create online courses for Udemy
One of the most common questions that I get asked is,
Can I sell my online course on Udemy and some other platform like Teachable, Thinkific, or Podia at the same time.
The answer is — it depends.
In some cases, you can sell the same online course on more than one online course platform.
In other cases, you can’t.
What’s the Problem?
First, let me start off by saying that issue is NOT with Teachable, Thinkific, or Podia. These online course platforms do not have restrictions on where and how you sell your courses.
For example, when you sign up for Teachable, you are paying to use their online course software. You aren’t giving Teachable a license to resell your courses.
The issue is on Udemy’s end.
When you sell courses on Udemy, you are giving them a license to resell your content.
