Laser Engraving Elvis DIY|Amazing Results
Hi guys! This is Tim from Create-A-Lase, your trusted source of useful and creative DIY laser and printing projects. Today we are going to have a little fun with a tribute to the “King of Rock and Roll” Elvis Presley. We will be doing a laser engraving of an image of Elvis, which would give a nice, personalized touch to your home or even as a gift.

The Steps:
Step 1: Launch CorelDraw to create and create a new file. For the purpose of this tutorial we named our file: “Elvis”.
Step 2: Set Page Size to Match the Laser Bed: We set ours to 457 by 305 Mm to make sure it would fit on the laser bed. We also set the colors to RGB as our laser needs those colors for our Laser Engraving Elvis DIY.
Step 3: Import the Image: Next step is for us to import the image to be used by pressing CTRL i and selecting the file. For best results, it is best to use a high contrast image like the one below. You can also flip the image like we did to make it look nicer, if you prefer that.
Step 4: Make the Necessary Adjustments: We can adjust brightness, contrast, smoothness etc. as we see fit on the toolbars on the image above. In the next photo, we are adjusting the background color in the picture to remove the grey and make sure it is white. Step 5: Ready For The Laser: After customizing the design, we are ready to put our material in the laser for engraving.
