Change is hard. It’s okay to ask for help.

Tomorrow I’ll do things differently, everything will change. From the moment I wake to the moment I go to sleep, I will be the most productive person I know and I will accomplish all my goals for the day.

I’ve been there before, many times. More than I’d like to admit actually. After more than 3 years of trying I can say that changing my habits is the most difficult task I’ve tackled in my life, and I believe the most difficult any of us ever will.

There is this mysterious force that keeps us from doing what we need to do to get where we need to get, and that force is one of the most powerful enemies we will face in our lifetime.

Now we can defeat this enemy, we can beat ‘The Force’, many have done it before us and more will do it after. So if we are to even stand a chance against this great evil, we need a strategy. There are many ways to go about doing this; one of them is to recruit people for the cause.

Creating Steaks, as Tim Ferriss would call it. This simply means to have consequences in place that will be carried out by someone else if you fail to do what you need to do.

The reality is, we simply can’t count on ourselves to stick to the plan. We’re just too good at lying to ourselves, so we need to bring in people that will create accountability. Then we’ll have a better chance at doing, weather we feel like it or not.

So ask someone for help, put consequences in place and do the best you can do.
