Flying Squirrel: One Button Prototype

This week we were tasked with prototyping a one one button game in Unreal Engine. After reading an article by National Geographic, I decided to make my game about the newly discovered Flying Squirrel Species, Humboldt’s Flying Squirrel.

Here are my Slides detailing the game’s make-up:

Within Unreal Engine, I created the blueprint for the basic action of ‘Glide’ and when held down longer creates ‘Fly’. In-between spacebar being pressed and released an integer counter takes place.

The game will hopefully and an infinite runner side-scroller that is set in the forrest of Yosemite Valley.
