We will fail with style.

It’s exactly a month since I started sketching out ideas for do-done. Now, I’m sitting on the train heading home — after a long workshop-session with the team.

The thoughts are drifting. I’m playing ”Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Lorde”. It feels like cold water running down my spine. It’s 9PM and I’ve been up since 5AM this morning — yet I don’t feel tired.

You know what I think that feeling is? Fatih. Faith and certainity.

Failing with style

We are a solid team consisting of a creative genius (Preben), a coder who states he can do the work of 5 people in 1/5th of the time. And me. I’ll let the other guys decide what I bring to the table. But I’m damn sure we won’t fail. And if we do — we’ll fail with style. Like no one has ever failed before. Failing with class. Winning at failing.

“I don’t even know what that means! No one knows what it means — but it’s provocative. Get’s the people going!”

I’m really happy to tell we have booked the do-done.io domain, and some small touches are remaining to the app to get it launched. We haven’t decided on a launch date yet — but if you want — you can be a beta tester for free. We would accept feedback, cussing and bad-mouthing with open arms.

According to what Preben says, we’re going for the ”lean” way of launching an app. He has repeatedly asked me if I’ve read “The Lean Startup”. I do have it in my bookshelf — and it was part one of the books in one of the subjects in college. But no. I haven’t read it back to back yet (don’t tell Preben). But I get the idea, and I kinda belive in it. We want to launch a sleek app first — measure everything and add features later.

The cocky programmer

Our team of programmers (the one dude) has already decided on a language so we can work scaleable, and easily work on other versions and deploy the worlds best task manager to other devices as well. I mean — who wouldn’t want to have a task manager on their [insert stupid smart devices here]?

We’re on a roll — and I’m happy to announce that we’ll be launching shortly. How soon? Don’t ask me — it all comes down to the programming dude(s). I’m adding some finishing touches to the design and overall UX — which I can’t wait to show you! As soon as I’m done — it’s all up to that cocky programmer who claims he could build a social network in 5 days.

Opening for beta testing

As stated above we are opening 20 slots for beta testing. If you are interested in leaving a footprint in the worlds best app — don’t hesitate to register below. We promise we won’t subscribe you to shady websites where women in your area are looking for fun. We use Prebens e-mail address for that.
