Is Deepseek the TikTok of Artificial Intelligence?
This time the Chinese have gone heavy.
$1 Trillion loss on the American stock exchange in less than 24 hours, that’s not a war, that’s an attack on the sovereignty of technology.
While we were distracted by ChatGPT and the rise of Nvidia, one company was studying the indicators that made this type of service very expensive, and how they could get around this and make something 83 times cheaper than OpenAI. And out of the blue, without expecting anything big, a company launches an application that almost replicates ChatGPT, but 40 times cheaper and with an open code available for any company to copy its functionalities and that works lighter than ChatGPT, consumes less energy and emits responses faster and more effectively than the greatest AI ever created.
What are the Chinese Trying to Achieve?
How did Deepseek cost so little, and how did they do it so quickly and still cause such a stir in the technology market? And better still, how did Deepseek manage to do this without having access to Nvidia’s chips?
