The window to vote for the final member of our Final Four is coming to a close this week. Leave your pick in the comments below or in the comments of any of our featured articles.

We started the tournament a little differently this year -

We were just not interested in doing the same old thing for a third straight year. So Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik are all in. But who will our final challenger be?

We talked about table stakes in Business Intelligence -

Did we mention dashboards and integration?

We took a look at one of the earliest and still most effective BI tools -

A full history of Pivot Tables is still in the works for our Circa Navigate magazine (check back here).

We took a look at dataviz and the myriad on BI buzzwords -

As of now, Looker is leading the voting to be the final contender.

We also took a critical look at why a best practice solution may not have the same appeal as a market leader -

But what of the other names on the Magic Quadrant? What about SAP & Domo? We’ve covered them before -

What about Cognos and Birst? We only have so much real estate and time during the competition. If you think we missed out on a major BI tool, leave it in the comments below. Get a couple people to agree with you, just to be sure. We won’t ignore you then, but until then — the other solutions just lack interest.

What about Einstein Analytics, Salesforce’s new offering?

Well, as much as I love CRMs, I don’t see a ground swell for this product yet either. It isn’t even a year old, yet — so be patient. But I wouldn’t bet on it either… though I do love the name.

At limited glance, it appears very… limited. Close won?

So thanks for reading! Thanks more for voting and sharing. You still have time to get in on this round. Just leave your comment below.
