Srsly!? Waddles is a lot of things. He is a fat, naked jerk. He is potentially delicious. Was once Soos. And is definitely inspiring… but what does he have to do with analytics?
Superficially, well he is a pig. But he has managed to find himself doing some rather analyst like things (mainly thanks to Mabel). From his love of pie charts, score cards, and books to his fear of pterodactyls — Waddles has all the superficial aspects of a true analyst. Okay, maybe not that pterodactyl thing…
Little Gift Shop of Horrors
One episode in particular, gives us a glimpse of what Waddles would be as a super analyst. During Little Gift Shop of Horrors, Waddles eats a brain-enhancing jelly that makes him the pig version of Stephen Hawkins. He uses his new found super intelligence to go on an invention spree.
As a super intelligent genius, fittingly voiced by Neil Degrasse Tyson, Waddles invents jet packs and lasers. He solves the mind blowing What-the-heck-ahedron and even creates the Smarticle Accelerator.
He embraces iteration and problem solving. He adapts technology and information. He becomes the prototypical analyst. He even ends the episode by tackling some of the highest levels of decision-making. He is an inspiring analyst indeed. Perhaps the greatest of all time…
Now the pig goes wherever he can shine the light of knowledge into the darkness of ignorance.
