Will you be watching?

Look out now, it’s almost that time of the year. Presidents day? Hell no. No one celebrates that shit. Guess again. Ok! I’ll remind you, it’s time for the Grammys! Yes, one of the most highly anticipated events of the year will take place at Madison Square Garden at 7 p.m. Jan 28 on CBS. We get to see our favorite artists perform and receive the highest honor in music!

No matter the type of music you prefer watching the Grammys is a big deal almost as big as watching the Super bowl and since this is year makes year 60 for the Grammys, it’s really going to be a-must -see event

Although there are 84 categories considered for nomination, my favorite category happens before the pre-show and the celeb fashion! Say what you want but the red carpet at the Grammys gives me my whole entire life! With Pink, Rihanna, and Cardi B we will leave knowing what’s hot and what’s not!

I didn’t see Beyoncé listed as one of the performers but with her music mogul husband Jay-Z appearing I’m sure she’s bound to be there showing up and showing at as only Bey can do! Well, we hope he will be there. The latest news has murmurings that he may not appear.

Will he perform?

We can’t forget the incomparable performance Beyonce pulled off with the iconic Tina Turner in 2008, when they both performed Tina Turner’s hit Proud Mary. I too was rolling all up and down the river after that performance!

In honor of the upcoming event I have complied my top 6 favorite Grammy looks of all time in no order.

Throwback Alert: Jenny from the block looked absolutely stunning in this gown. I would have been confused trying to put it on and would have put my arm in the leg portion or vice versa but I’m sure her stylist assisted her. Nether-less she looked like a mermaid goddess!

Beyonce was pregnant with her twins at the 2017 Grammys award show but she performed and looked amazing doing so. She was a golden Statue of Liberty and she was glowing from head to toe.

As if Pink’s haircut isn’t enough to make you want to cut your locs and roc a pixie cut, she looked beautiful in this red dress in 2014. No seriously, one of my first short haircuts was Pink’s haircut. The contrast between the short haircut and the off the shoulders dress was nothing short of genius.

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton has always been known for her daring attire she is in great shape and has no problems showing you just how great her shape really is. In 2001, she showed up in a gown that made you stop and say Oh Toni! Look it up! I love her music and style and the picture here is so graceful.

This list wouldn’t be a list of the best Grammy looks without mentioning the next two artists!

Kanye West

Kanye West has always made some daring fashion choices, but when you are Kanye West, you can do that! Duh! Most folks either love Kanye or hate him. He has been the talk of the Grammys for years. In this shot, he wears a maroon velvet jogging suit! Hey, he definitely doesn’t look like a college drop-out

Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams is another fashion icon who produces great music! In 2015, Pharrell Williams showed up in a short-set tuxedo. Listen, I was here for it! In this fit, he can be ready for anything, picnics, banquets and the damn Grammys! So be happy!

I can’t want to see what the stars will be wearing this year. I will be watching, Will you?

I would love to hear what you think, comment, share and make it clap hunny!
