Justin Dauer + Jason Ogle = The Creative Culture Podcast in 2018
User Defenders’ Jason Ogle Joins as Co-Host
There are eureka moments — instances when 2 things come together — when a synergy and a common goal are undeniable. The ancient parable of chocolate and peanut butter seems rather apt in this moment.
The Synergy
For the past 2 years, Jason Ogle’s incredibly valuable User Defenders podcast has highlighted “those leading the way in their craft by diving deeper into who they are, and what makes them tick / successful, in order to inspire and equip those aspiring to do the same.” For user experience designers and developers, his dialogues have provided an endless fountain of human-centered inspiration.
Launched this past June to coincide with the release of Cultivating a Creative Culture, the Creative Culture Podcast was created to put a spotlight on, and give a stage to, those who are “doing it right” as champions of healthy culture. The premiere discussion was with Swedish UX thought leader Jaan Orvet (linked above), whom I frequently reference in the book.
Following my own discussion with Jason on User Defenders (story above), our common experiences, drive, and passion toward human-centered creative cultures in business became crystal clear.
Beginning in 2018, he and I will be leading the new Creative Culture Podcast
Adding Jason’s voice, brilliance, and industry reach as co-host will take the podcast to the next level.
As we’re building out our guest list and starting interviews, we have a request: are you, or do you know of, someone who is a beacon of human-centered creative culture? Have you (or they) developed innovative, unique methods of building an empathetic, energetic work environment? Or a process conducive to everyone doing their best problem solving? If so, please reach out to us; people cross-industry would benefit from that brilliance.
