After last year’s highly successful launch of CS for She (with CE), in which we took a crew of 17 female senior creatives through a 6 month training to give them the tools they need to really thrive in the creative industry, we are delighted to announce that we will be running the programme again for up to 25 female ACDs and CDS. As well as increasing the number of modules, we are renaming the programme #futureleaders to reflect our shared ambition to double the number of female creative directors over the next 24 months and we are delighted that this year’s programme is supported by Facebook (thank you so much).

The programme will continue to be focused on developing the core skills of leadership, such as culture building, media training, business skills and public speaking in a creative and inspiring way. Confirmed trainers include Lynne Parker, founder of Funny Women, Richard Robinson, Managing Partner at Oystercatchers, Roxanne Hobbs, Founder of Hobbs Consultancy Victoria Buchanan, ECD at Tribal BBD and Zoe Clapp, CMO of UK TV.

The sessions will include:

· The Business of creativity — understanding what drives agency profitability and how you can make an impact

· Building a creative culture — understanding how to build a culture in which creativity and innovation can thrive

· Embracing vulnerability — learning how getting comfortable with vulnerability will make you a better leader as we embrace diversity, inclusivity and an increasingly fast moving & complex world

· Stand Up to Stand Out — an introduction to the techniques of stand up to help build self confidence and enhance your communications skills

· Building your profile — understanding the power of building your profile and learning key media skills

· Presenting to CMO — Session to help understand what CMOs are looking for from agencies. Hearing about the key pitfalls and how you can help a CMO buy your work

The programme will run over six months stating on 27th June. In order to complete the programme, all attendees must miss no more than one session:

The cost

Well, that’s the really interesting bit. The programme itself is free and all we ask is that your agency commits to paying* to send you to the next CS Global which is running between 9–10 November in London. If you don’t know what a CS Global entails, check out video from CS Los Angeles here.

So if you are interested in applying, please complete the following form. The deadline for entries is Friday 19th May. The entries will then be reviewed by myself, Kat Hahn from Facebook and Ali Hanan, co-founder of Creative Equals. We will inform you if successful on Friday 26th May. Any questions, feel free to get in touch via twitter (@creativesocial).

  • Cost of a CS Global is £700 for newbies and £550 for Socials (ie people who have attended one of our CS Globals before)
