Grrrr, Did You Just Have A Brutus Moment?
You were cut off in traffic and you unloaded on the perpetrator. You were stressed out and sent off a nasty email. It felt like you couldn't help yourself. And yet… I believe you can!
If you were one of Cerberus’ three heads, the mythical hound of hell of Ancient Greek folklore, we might call you Brutus. You pride yourself in being a result-oriented, go-getting, goal-stretching person with a low tolerance for slacking off or messing up. You believe that sometimes it takes breaking an egg in order to make an omelet. You consider yourself a bit rough around the edges perhaps, demanding of others, but not more so than you ask of yourself. Most of the time, you get things done, you win the game, you save the day. Thanks to your tireless effort.
But every so often, you shoot yourself in the foot, despite your best efforts or most noble intentions. When it’s raining, the temperature drops and the wind blows in your face (figuratively speaking), you feel under pressure and instinctively (imperceptible almost) react by moving against people.
