JUST MY THOUGHTS…

Likeability

Cannot be rammed down the throats of those who dislike something, anything, or most especially someone

Simple me learned ages ago that you cannot force anyone to like, let alone adore, something or someone that the person dislikes with a capital D.

(Take my daughter who hated marmalade on her toast.)

Meanwhile, some people with unlimited riches and power presume that someone could be elevated to the pinnacle of public respect and adoration by using the media to this end.

Think of media’s over-the-top marketing blitz.

Simple me suggests that no amount of PR barrage could influence a public perception that is so majorly rooted in the psyche, in that faithlessness is a vicious deed and should not be rewarded.

Arguably, a small segment of the public may have bought the PR blitz.

For the majority, though, their clash with the cache storage of superlatives being rammed down their throats by the accessed media is, unsurprisingly, being given the cloak of invisibility.

If I were to be consulted on how to fix this likeability concern — but, no, why bother. It would be a fool’s errand.
