THIS HAPPENED TO ME
The Universe Is Forever Listening
And it may surprise us one day with what it heard from us
WHEN we express admiration for something, it does not mean that we covet what we admire.
Maybe we marvelled — just by looking at photographs — at the beauty of Taj Mahal, or Eiffel Tower, or even the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands. It does not follow, however, that we like to possess the objects of our adoration.
But the universe is forever listening.
If we deserve it, fate may perhaps conspire to give us a surprise.
Maybe the company we work for would send us to a week-long business workshop in Agra, or win a contest for a weekend holiday in Paris; perhaps be awarded a scholarship in a university in Singapore.
All these sample opportunities point to being able to visit, in person, such revered edifices mentioned [as examples] above.
Or, destiny could have something in store for us, which is related to the thing that we fancy, even silently.
Remember, the universe is listening.
Always.
Forever.
It hears us, whether or not we say out loud our deep liking for something.
