Benton Modern Web Specimen receives a Croatian Designer’s Association award
The Benton Modern web specimen brochure site we art directed and developed in partnership with Webtype, received a “Croatian Designer’s Association” award for best professional electronic / interactive media design at the Biannual Exhibition of Croatian Design 1516.
Webtype commissioned us to build a brochure website for Benton Modern in 2015. The brief was to showcase what could be achieved typographically with a versatile type family coupled with responsive web typography by using as many responsive techniques as possible. From the start, we really wanted users’ to experience the typeface and its many features visually and not just through a full page of body copy. Needless to say the project was an absolute labor of love, and receiving this award makes it that little bit more special.
