Challenging yourself is important in the world of writing so I challenged myself to write a poem. This is a poem using color as a metaphor for our every day mood changes
One day I’m a ruby in a sunset sky
One day I’m the sapphire dancing in the sea
One day I am the sun, as yellow as can be
One day I’m the gold as innocent as you
