In scents we find a wistful tale,
Where memories awake and set sail.
A fragrance wafts upon the air,
Unveiling treasures held with care.
A whiff of rain upon dry earth,
Recalls a childhood’s playful mirth.
Puddles danced beneath our feet,
Joyful laughter, innocence sweet.
The aroma of freshly baked bread,
Leads us down paths we once tread.
A kitchen filled with love and cheer,
Warm embraces and flavors dear.
A hint of jasmine in the breeze,
Brings back whispers among the trees.
Moonlit nights, secrets shared,
Love’s fragrance lingering, unrepaired.
The ocean’s salty, briny scent,
Unlocks treasures long since spent.
Sandy beaches, waves’ caress,
Footprints imprinted, happiness.
A whiff of lavender, soothing and calm,
Recaptures peace, a healing balm.
