The Beauty of Simple Life
Poetry
In the hustle and bustle of our days,
We often forget to pause and gaze,
At all the beauty that surrounds,
In the simple things that can astound.
From a bird that sings on a tree branch high,
To a butterfly that flutters by,
From a sunset that paints the sky red,
To a rose that grows from a bed.
It’s in the laughter of loved ones near,
And the warmth of a fire in a cozy hearth,
It’s in the scent of a summer’s rain,
And the beauty of a new day’s gain.
It’s in the quiet of a peaceful night,
And the stars that twinkle with delight,
It’s in the love that we share with all,
That makes life beautiful, big and small.
So let us cherish the simple things,
And the beauty that it often brings,
For in the ordinary, we’ll find,
The joys of life that are one of a kind.

I have to mention this other poem I loved reading over the weekend. It has stayed in my memory; I knew I had to share this at that moment!
