DAFT THOUGHTS

The Truth About The Apple

Why is the great apple logo been nibbled?

Enquiring minds need to know!

Well… maybe, or perhaps just mine?

Anyhow, are you ready for this truly exciting journey right now?

Anyway, let’s have a drum roll before I announce the news to you…

It turns out that it wasn’t the fault of the hungry caterpillar after all.

So, if the bite out of that apple on our phones wasn’t caused by a caterpillar, then who did bit it?

Well, according to ‘Tech You Like,’ that it was created by Rob Janoff in 1977 but, why an apple of all things?

Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, added to the mystery by stating that the “bite symbolizes knowledge and a human touch.”

It was actually Janoff that let the proverbial ‘cat of the bag,’ by saying that “… without the bite, the apple silhouette could have been mistaken for a cherry or any other round fruit. The bite was added to ensure that the logo could be easily identified and associated with Apple Inc.”

Excuse me for asking this one simple question but, “did IQs suddenly massively drop back in 1977 so much so that, men and women had all-of-a- sudden, forgotten what a simple fruit, like an apple, looks like?”

Your guess is as good as mine!
