The Void.

No one ever imagined that the frailty of human life would end here, or would it, it could be simply the beginning?

Chapter One.

Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.

Well, only time was going to bear witness to whether this was actually true or not. Humanity’s plans would certainly attest to that in time.

And so it began.

The rebuilding of what was left of the human race.

Not one single person across the western world could have foreseen it happening within their lifetime on Earth. Sure, there had been two world wars up until then, leaving many civilians truly believing that the world leaders had indeed learned the harsh realities of what these wars had left behind, the ugly loss of millions of innocent lives, the countless destruction of home dwellings and of well-established and thriving business networks, all wiped out within a matter of just a few months.

Certainly, everyone had heard it the first time when leaders had widely promoted their beliefs that a second world war would never take place, that they had indeed learned a very true and harsh lesson, that war never solved any of their…
