I Am Loud Productions — The Loudcast
The Loudcast is a long-form podcast showcasing the breadth and depth of quality in the Scottish spoken word scene. After successfully piloting this project in 2020–21, we’ve been delighted to receive funding for our first full season.
Released in both video and audio formats, The Loudcast is a free resource designed to be both entertaining and educational. Each episode features poems from various spoken word artists and in-depth discussions on creative practice and industry issues with leading figures in this sector.
Through The Loudcast, we aim to draw attention to the strength and diversity of the Scottish spoken word scene, to provide a forum for important conversations regarding this genre, and to inform our audiences in an engaging, thought-provoking manner.
