Applications are open until midnight on Sunday 29th November for Refreshing Your Practice: a coaching programme for mid-career writers.

This programme is a partnership between the Creative Scotland Literature Team and Coaching for Creatives. Through it we hope to boost resilience and confidence for established writers and spoken word artists as they respond to the impacts of COVID-19.

Full programme and eligibility details, as well as the short application form at this link: Refreshing Your Practice — COACHING FOR CREATIVES

The writers selected for this (free) programme will receive 5 hrs of one-to-one coaching with an accredited coach, plus 3 group coaching sessions. The programme will run Dec 2021 — May 2022.

It’s for you if you’re:

  • aged 18 or over
  • based in Scotland
  • have published at least 2 full-length works of fiction, creative non-fiction or poetry — or have an equivalent portfolio in Spoken Word

Access support is available for the one-to-one sessions and the groups sessions. There is also a small stipend of £50 per writer for attending the 3 group sessions (£150 in total).
