Peaceful sailing

It takes bravery to know your strengths and operate diligently within them. Are you running your race, or someone else’s?

Don’t really like the notion of running a race. Had enough of those while living in Moscow or fully being in academia. I think I prefer peaceful sailing metaphor.

The journey, where everything is possible, but at the same time you’re equipped enough to face all the challenges that an open sea might have for you. To have enough knowledge and skill to bring your ship to the place you were intending to go, enjoy the process, get lost a few times here and there only to discovery new lands..

It does take bravery to embark on your own journey, to follow your heart and leave the usual comforts behind, but if approached with an open mind, peaceful mind, optimism and enthusiasm it will all work out. Somehow..
