Christmas Lights Reflected in the Rain of a Peaceful Sunday Night
December Walk Journal Part 2: The combination and congregation of my favorite things.
Some of my favorite things joined forces tonight: a peaceful Sunday night rain and the colorful glow of Christmas lights. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect combination.
The photos that I capture are poetry that write themselves. Just imagine art giving birth to more art. These things happen when you discover what you like, are open to joy, and are grateful for the little things.
I created a planet of happiness for myself right in my home and on my walks. God and Mother always assist me with the weather and changing seasons.
Anyone who has been reading me for more than a year knows that at this point, the rain takes my figurative pen from me and writes the poem or article for me. The rain has been scarce in the last few months, so I enjoy it when possible.
The Sunday rain gave me some serene and soothing ambient sounds this evening. I could see the droplets of beads on my windows, and when the rain poured heavier, they looked like transparent veins. A highway of precipitation. I have one of my Christmas trees in my studio, aka my Sonic Sanctuary.
