Colder Than Space

It is a poem about the coldest nebula in the universe, the places I’ve been, and my feelings.

I don’t even have to go

Farther than within

Some of the colder places

In the universe

Are the memories

Of where I’ve been

Floating in your vapid

Void

There’s nothing

But frozen

Dreams

The fact that I was in

The eye of polar

Vortex

Was unseen

There Cosmos

Is captivating

At first, to win

You over

Inside your dead star

I thought

But was infatuated

With a supernova

Nights were colder

I’m in a vacuum

Of listlessness

Barren nebulas

Planting seeds

In the nothingness

Frozen and vacant
