On a warm sunny day anywhere in America, creating your own luck is simple as using this formula at any moment in your life:
Opportunity + Preparedness x Action = LUCK
aka desired results, achievements, completed goals, and accomplished dreams in your: Home. Work. And Life.
Putting it into practice:
1. OPPORTUNITY
[Stop]Waiting for that magic bullet, the winning lotto ticket, or top 10 things you should’ve been doing since birth, in order to strike gold
Instead…
Intentionally elevate and seek out favorable conditions for your success by—
-Being observant, and finding new possibilities that lead you to your goals and aspirations.
-Meet other professionals outside your immediate field of expertise and interests, fostering long term relationships.
-Curbing fear and use curiosity to explore the unfamiliar. Professional or otherwise.

As a Writer, I invest in ‘lucky chance’ scenarios that ONLY further my career — And sometimes, painfully leave shiny distractions disguised as a good idea behind.
Through keen preparation, I constantly seek ways to improve my skills of creative writing, marketing, and entrepreneurial pursuits. Same as any master artist or painter who spends countless hours readying himself for that prospective payoff from their deliberate efforts.
So when opportunity does arrive in the guise of a lucrative career offer, ideal client, or lucky break —
Ask yourself:
How well prepped am I to handle that situation; whether Financial, Relational, or Professional?
3. ACTION

Opportunity and Preparedness will never work for you without the magical catalyst of Action…
