Alan Moore is regarded as the best comic comics writer in the English language. Alan Moore is an English writer and is primarily known for Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Batman- The Killing Joke, The Ballad of Halo Jones, Swamp Thing, and From Hell.
I first came to know about Alan Moore, when I read the comic Watchmen and watched the movie. The story is a satire on the superhero concept and it reflects the anxieties of society, set in a futuristic world. The comic book was published in 1986 and 1987 and was a huge commercial success.
Watchmen was recognized by Time as the best English language novel published since 1923 and it was added to its list of 100 Best Novels. Zack Synder produced the movie Watchmen in 2009.
