Creaton Launch Roadmap
We’re finally going to DAO it, Mainnet launch in 3. 2. 1. 🚀
There will be 4 main phases of releasing the Creaton DApp, DAO & token:
Phase 1: Mainnet Web DApp launch
It’s time to put Creaton on Polygon Mainnet!
13/8/21 is the date we will go live on Mainnet on Creaton.io, this will include subscribing to creators for exclusive videos & photos with lots of more features being rolled out afterwards.
Phase 2: Launchpool, TGE, Airdrop
Otoco.io released a “launchpool” capital formation smart contract; you can stake USDC on a bonding curve and receive $CREATE tokens after the staking window is finished, but being able to unstake your USDC anytime before that.
The nice thing about this is that US citizens are allowed to join!
We will sponsor the launchpool on Creaton.io, a front-end will be build for it so the date is TBD, but soon™️!
Both the airdrop and token listing will happen near the end of September!
Phase 3: Mobile DApp, more features
Being in full control of your data comes at a cost, as you need to be the person manually granting access to whoever pays/subscribes for it (if not you would trust a centralized server to do this for you — then they could give access to anyone)
There are multiple solutions for this, but for now a Mobile App will be the best one; it will automatically grant access to subscription requests as long as the app is running in the background.
This will basically turn your phone into a mini server that grants new subscriptions for you, so you will keep all your data safe in your pocket 📱
The Android version is planned to be released at the end of August, iOS TBD.
More features
We are not going to stop at subscriptions, this is merely the beginning!
A “Fan Service” feature will be added where fans can request personalized videos and pictures from creators.
Creator Tokens/Voting will also be added, where creators DAOify themselves and set proposals for fans to vote on.
And lots, lots more.
Phase 4: DAO
Back to the launchpool — the collected capital will be used to bootstrap the Creaton DAO. The DAO will go through multiple decentralization steps.
To begin with, there will be a multi-sig the core team owns.
After this, we will start introducing squads (departments, in corporation lingo) with their own treasury that they have voting rights over.
Each squad will have their own governance token, staked from $CREATE, once again, all of this will be talked about up to great lengths in another blog post.
