Creaton Receives Investment from Tykhe Block Ventures to Build Web3 Creator Platform

In recent years, many Creators have begun to report publicly that their accounts have been suspended or banned on various platforms that benefit directly from user generated content. This has resulted in a dwindling number of platforms where Creators and Fans can meet, exchanging value for value. Creators lose access to their fanbase, Fans must seek out their favourite Creators on new platforms. Incomes are lost and enthusiasts are left wondering why they have lost access to content they paid for.

Creaton was born out of the idea that Creators should be in full control of the content they produce, and Fans should have permanent access to content they have paid for.

We are thrilled to announce that Tykhe Block Ventures shares this vision, and has invested in Creaton in order to help bring this solution to fruition. Tykhe Block Ventures, led by Prashant Malik, is a leading investment firm based in Singapore focusing their investments on decentralization technologies, digital assets, and supporting infrastructure.

In addition to the investment, Prashant Malik will become an Advisor to Creaton, applying his experience as an investor and advisor in over 50 startups including multiple unicorns like Zomato, Urbanclap, Coinswitch and others. Prashant is a computer scientist who has been awarded many patents in various technology fields, including a few in social networking while at Facebook. He was one of the early engineers at Facebook and is widely known for creating and open sourcing Apache Cassandra, the most widely used distributed database in the world.

By building a decentralized platform that leverages solutions like SuperFluid, Polygon and NuCypher, Creaton can offer Creators and Fans tools to improve content distribution, monetization, build communities, and more.

With this fundraising, we will be accelerating development of the platform and marketing efforts, engaging with Creators and Fans alike to ensure we deliver the seamless experience envisioned.
