Stubborn dog — You accepted love crumbs and made feast of it

Stubborn dog — You accepted love crumbs and made feast of it.

The loss you felt walking towards age, we could have done more, loved you more.

Stubborn dog — Attached to life even when it’s sour.

Your last years should have been sweeter, we could have done more, loved you more.

No, eyes don’t feels — while most of us left, you awaited.

We came to you for sorries and goodbye — and witness one more time your quiet love and pride.

A yard is not enough — run wild, my dear stubborn dog.
