These fantastic felines outshine costars of a variety of other species and have definitely earned their places among the best cinema cats!
1. Goose
Goose is an extraterrestrial creature called a Flerken that looks like an Earth cat but has pocket dimensions inside his mouth that make him very dangerous to his enemies. He plays an impurrtant role in Captain Marvel (2019). Purrhaps the tabby-cat “M” marking on his forehead stands for Marvel! Goose, originally called Chewie in the comics, is named after a character in Top Gun to fit the theme of this movie that centers around a former Air Force pilot.
He melts the heart of and receives uncharacteristic affections from a certain bad-ass SHIELD agent who’s unaware that Goose is not a normal cat. Goose is deemed a much higher threat than human males like Nick Fury, who learns the hard way not to cross a line with the Flerken kitty. In a post-credits scene, in typical feline fashion, Goose coughs up like a hairball a much-sought artifact, right onto Fury’s desk.
