Of course, delivering the Whitepaper is simply the first milestone in a long journey. But we’re incredibly excited to release it so that we can now crack on and bring our vision for a fairer, more decentralized and democratic global economy to life!
That means bringing onboard new partners, collaborating with other ecosystems and getting into the nitty-gritty of development as we build the next component of #OpenFi economy. Through that process, the vision and implementation of Gateway DAO will change, and ultimately, evolve. We look forward to sharing that that journey with all of you over the coming weeks and months.
📓 Gateway DAO Summary
As the Web 3 ecosystem continues to mature, the importance of interoperability is only growing. Cross-chain bridges are a fundamental part of that equation enabling transfers of digital assets from one ecosystem to another.
Gateway DAO is designed to be the future of the cross-chain bridging, giving users the freedom to operate across any L1 or L2 ecosystem of their choice, whilst ensuring security through a decentralized and transparent governance and cross-chain validation mechanism.
The Gatekeeper DAO, modeled on the Governor Bravo Framework developed by Compound, is a blockchain agnostic DAO responsible for vetting, approving and deploying new bridge contracts known as ‘Gateways’. Each Gateway is managed by its own Gateway DAO pegged to the Gatekeeper DAO.
