Credix Behind The Scenes Nov 2023 — São Paulo, Brazil

At the vibrant Galeria Dezoite, an art gallery in Vila Madalena, we hosted our very first in-person recruitment event. It was a sun-soaked day, possibly the hottest day of the year, and the art gallery set the perfect scene for creativity and innovation.
Out of 100 applicants, we selected a group of 20 people, who were welcomed by our colleagues from Brazil. Our CEO and founder, Thomas, kicked things off by sharing a vivid picture of Credix, our core values, and his vision for the future. After presenting the business challenge that was carefully put together by our colleagues, we divided everyone into groups to start brainstorming around the topic: Originations Strategy in Brazil.
For one and a half hours, it was all about letting creativity run wild. People worked together, dividing tasks, throwing around ideas, and teaming up. On top of the main business challenge, there was another test: working efficiently with people you hadn’t met before and dealing with time pressure.
Then came the exciting part. Each group stood up and showed off their unique solutions to a group of judges. It was amazing to see how everyone tackled the challenge in their own way. These presentations were a mix of different ideas and teamwork, showing just how inventive and creative everyone had been.
Once the presentations wrapped up, it was time for the judges to decide on the winning team while the rest of us transitioned into a more relaxed atmosphere. It was a laid-back networking session, where our Credix team gave insights about the work culture, shared personal experiences, and chatted openly about life at Credix. It was a chance for everyone to relax, catch up, and connect while enjoying some great food and tasty drinks.
My experience was incredible, and I was impressed with the attention to every detail. From the moment I arrived and found a personalized badge with my name, to the gifts I received, all branded with the Credix logo, like the cap (which I especially loved), the ecobag, and the notebook, everything was meticulously planned. The opportunity to network with the team, including the esteemed presence of Chaim and Thomas, and to interact with other candidates during the group dynamic was invaluable. The choice of such a unique and amazing venue added to the experience, and the warm reception by the entire Credix team truly made the event memorable. Thank you so much for everything! It was evident the dedication you put into making the event so excellently executed!

Last but certainly not least, Ana Bárbara from Dinie and Ana Coutinho from Valor Capital joined us for an amazing panel discussion about the world of innovations in Credit and FinTech in Brazil. They brought some serious insights to the table and then wrapped it up with an interactive Q&A session. The evening crescendoed with the announcement of the business case winners — rewarded with exclusive Credix wallets and an invite to visit our new São Paulo office.
It was a pleasure meeting people who are truly helping to shape the new financial era, specially in Brazil that has so many strengths but many barriers. Therefore, CREDIX products will certainly allow many opportunities to be brought to life due to its innovation. I would like to thank you all for the commitment in such a noble journey.

Despite a slight hiccup with the air conditioning [and remember, possibly the hottest day of the year!] the participant’s enthusiasm and interest remained vibrant. The event was a success, setting the stage for a promising future of growth and collaboration at Credix.
