Today, we’re excited to announce that Credix has raised $11.25 million in a Series A round led by Motive Partners & ParaFi Capital. Following our seed funding, our Series A is the next major step in bringing our revolutionary protocol and platform for credit investing to investors.

Within the next decade, debt capital markets will be on-chain and democratized. Credix is building the infrastructure to enable this at scale — we’re developing a next-generation credit platform matching institutional investors and FinTech lenders. From the beginning, we have been focused on building the bridge between DeFi and real-world assets (RWA). Since our launch, it has become increasingly clear that RWA can bring sustainable and scalable growth to the DeFi ecosystem. The total DeFi market cap has decreased by 63% whilst Credix was able to grow 20-fold and originate +$23 million in active loans in only 6 months. Credix is currently live in Brazil. Expanding into other emerging markets soon.

Our platform now enables FinTech companies and other non-bank lenders to convert their receivables and real assets into investment capital. All financing happens on-chain using USDC & smart contracts, creating instant efficiencies, settlement, and more transparency. We recently launched our V2, featuring multi-tranche structures, and arbitrary repayment schedule to allow for more complex deals.

Since our launch A55 (revenue-based financing), Tecredi (car loans), Descontanet (SME financing), Provi (student loans), Adiante (SME financing), and Divi Bank (SaaS financing) raised debt financing on Credix — we’re now working with dozens of new FinTech’s, like MeuTudo, to launch more deals. Because of Credix’s strong focus on risk management and underwriting we have been able to attract institutional investors, such as Rockaway & MGG Investment Group, as liquidity providers on the platform. Specialized underwriters like Almavest, Addem Capital, and Cauris have joined the platform to source, underwrite, and provide first-loss capital.

To realize this important yet complex vision, we are raising capital from a group of strategic investors with diverse backgrounds. Participants include Motive Partners, ParaFi Capital, Valor Capital, MGG Bayhawk Fund, Victory Park Capital, Circle Ventures, Fuse Capital, and Abra. The funds from the round will be used to accelerate the development of our platform, team growth, and integration with Web3 projects. More exciting updates soon!
