Inside Credix — Luis' 1 year Milestone

Today we celebrate Luis’ 1 year anniversary at Credix! Coming from South America, he joined Credix out of our Antwerp office as a Full-stack (and blockchain) Engineer. His critical thinking and process-driven mindset have contributed a lot to the success of the platform so far.

What accomplishments are you hoping to achieve in the coming year?

Personally and leisure-wise, keep a balanced and healthy lifestyle, travel to Asia, and visit Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. Professionally, I’m aiming to read 6 books I bought recently, some of them oriented to software engineering and others to personal development.

Reflecting on the recent Credix offsite, what aspect stood out to you as the most enjoyable/memorable?

The most enjoyable part was sitting together for meals and talking about our lives. It’s a great way to know each other better and to create a stronger bond between us.

If you could offer a piece of advice to your future self one year from now, what would it be?

I would say to myself to keep avoiding procrastination, get things done by breaking them into smaller tasks, don’t forget to have fun, and leave my comfort zone regularly.

Considering your role, what aspect of your responsibilities brings you the most satisfaction?

I would say that the most satisfying part is to see the results of my work in production, and how it helps the company to grow. Also, I enjoy the process of productising ideas and seeing how they become real.

What’s your favorite merchandise item?

The Credix sweater, it’s good quality, very comfortable, and looks great.
