Inside Credix — Pedro's 1 year Milestone
It has been a full year since Pedro embarked on his role as a legal intern with our team in Brazil. Collaborating closely with Marco and Helena, he swiftly became an indispensable member of both the legal team and the entire company. As Pedro embarks on his second year at Credix, we are thrilled to witness his continued personal and professional growth.
What accomplishments are you hoping to achieve in the coming year?
I look forward to Credix’s upcoming transaction with a Brazilian Fundo de
Investimento em Direitos Creditórios (FIDC). In light of this, I would like for my primary accomplishment in the coming year to be a positive and noticeable contribution to the structuring of this facility. This opportunity will allow me to be a more capable and accomplished professional moving forward, which, of course, is my key objective both presently and in the long run.
Reflecting on the recent Credix offsite, what aspect stood out to you as the
most enjoyable/memorable?
What stood out to me in the last Credix offsite was the rafting. It was a great opportunity for team bonding and a lot of fun for everyone involved.
If you could offer a piece of advice to your future self one year from now,
what would it be?
I’ve learned that continuous self-development is key to personal and professional growth. Therefore, I advise myself to consistently work on enhancing both my technical skills and soft skills. Additionally, I’ll stay up-to-date with legislative, regulatory, and economic changes, while maintaining the same desire for personal and professional betterment.
Considering your role, what aspect of your responsibilities brings you the
most satisfaction?
What brings me the most satisfaction is working in a dynamic, high-speed environment with qualified co-workers. It has proven to be a great learning place. Moreover, given the nature of Credix’s transactions, I have been exposed to the legal and financial dynamics of different countries in the Americas and in diverse economic sectors, acquiring valuable experience in the process.
What’s your favorite merchandise item?
My favorite merchandise items, in this particular case in the plural, are the
Credix pens. I write a good deal in and out of work, which is why they come in handy.
