Robbert Coeckelbergh has been one year at Credix! Today, we’re very happy to celebrate his one-year anniversary at the company. Working out of our beautiful Antwerp office, his contributions as Solutions Architect have been fundamental to the Product & Engineering team. We sat together with him to reflect on his past year. Read on to learn how he experienced it!

Robbert Coeckelbergh — Solution Architect — Antwerp, Belgium

Reflecting on the past year, could you share a standout achievement that you’re particularly proud of?

After a couple of months at Credix, I introduced IaC (Infrastructure as Code) together with some other colleagues. This means we can manage our infrastructure (think of cloud services, databases,…) with code, leading to a stable release process when moving infrastructure from test environments to production.

What is your favorite part of working for the company?

Credix thrives on a culture of constant innovation, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. The team is perpetually engaged in exploring new ideas and opportunities, keeping the work environment vibrant and stimulating. Every week there are new challenges to tackle which makes it a very dynamic work environment.

If you could offer a piece of advice to your future self one year from now, what would it be?

I would emphasize the importance of perspective. Something that seems important right now, might not be 6 months from now. We all grow out of some ideas, concepts, and passions and lean into new ones. The important thing is to grow along the way and keep true to your values.

What’s your favorite merchandise item?

Probably a boring answer, but I would say the T-shirt as it is the most practical. You probably won’t often see me with a hat on. Unless you’re really lucky of course.
