Heading out on your bike or planning a road trip with your friends on your two wheels? You are bound to get some of these (in some cases, ALL or even more) from your Mom, the leading lady of your house!
Dheere chalaya kar, varna chaabhi le lungi:
The most common dhamki EVER! Because the Mom knows that her beloved son can leave behind the likes of Valentino Rossi, Michael Schumacher, etc. on any given day.
Kitni gandi gaadi chalata hai tu:
Even if you maintained a speed of 40kms/hr or maintained the same lane throughout the time your mom was your pillion, the moment she gets down, the first thing you’ll hear is YOU DRIVE SO HORRIBLY! Did you ride rash or overtake someone on the road dangerously? No? Don’t worry mate, that’s your mummy ka pyaar jataane ka tareeka!
Arre abhi toh theek karwayi thi, firse kharab ho gayi?:
Nope! It’s not because you had a crash or anything, this is the normal reaction to you saying your bike’s servicing is due & it needs one soon. Face it, for your mom, your bike only needs servicing when it breaks down. Even if your last bike service was before dinosaurs came on earth, for your mom, it will always be abhi toh karwayi thi!
Kal hi toh petrol dalwaya tha? Khatam bhi ho gaya?:
If you ask your mom for money & say petrol, even by mistake, this is undoubtedly something you will hear. Yes, always. This rhetorical question is usually accompanied with questionable glances, uncertain expressions, hesitant responses & finally a Rs. 50 or 100 note (depending on your creditworthiness).
Zaraa aage tak chod aa:
Chances are you’re about to leave to meet your friends and coincidently, your mom is leaving too and she wants you to drop her off at Sharma Aunty’s. You might be a real badass of the world but we dare you, try refusing that!
Neeche se _________ le aa:
Moms don’t care if you ride a Honda Activa or a Honda CBR 1000rr, when she wants “nimbu, tamatar, masala & adrak”, you go & get her what she wants. A no will leave you with too much of melodrama for the next 30 mins, after which you will anyways get it. So might as well, do it in the first instance itself!
Jaa zara inko pick up/drop kar aa:
Reason #2575183 to hate ALL your relatives & people who visit you SOLO.
And beneath all the nagging that you receive from your mom every time you’re out riding, there’s a worried lady who waits for you to return safely because for her, nothing else matters more than your well-being!
Sambhaal kar chalaana, beta!
