Every rider in this world, who loves bikes and holds a passion for riding motorcycles, has a dream bike that he can make him/her blush even if they’re sloshed and can’t stand straight right out of a Saturday night party! For some, those dream
s stay a dream for a long time but some on the other hand, work towards it and make it a possibility and we just happened to bump into someone who likes to repeatedly do the latter!
So incidentally, we happened to catch up with a Rider who likes to be called “Broken Asphalt” and we were quite intrigued with his passion for Riding Motorcycles. Despite insistence, Mr. BA chose to remain Anonymous and so we shall call him Mr. BA for the rest of this piece!
‘BA’ is a pretty awesome Motovlogger (Motorcycle Video Blogger) on Youtube. His channel goes by the name ‘Broken Asphalt’ and does pretty well considering the fact that it’s relatively new on the block. It’s picking up subscribers by the day and catching up to the other prominent names in the motovlogging sector rather quickly. He rides a tricked out 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 and that is what, struck all the right chords for him! This bike set the right tone for him, gave him the confidence and evoked his passion, to take riding up as a hobby more
than anything else.
His baby Ninja not only gave way to his Bike Riding passion but also made him add another big beast in his two wheeler lineup, the “Ducati Panigale 899’. If you’re not awestruck, you probably don’t know how badass this red Italian is! Remember how we talked about the Dream bike? Yeah, this dude got it done!
We asked ‘BA’ what he would do if someone took the bike away from him, his answer was rather conspicuous, he said “I’d just buy a faster bike and chase them down!” and we aren’t complaining!
The face behind the “Broken Asphalt” is a student and he just wanted to leave it at that. By now, we would even believe it if he said he was Batman. Identity concealing level was over 9000!
If there’s one thing common about Bikers across the world, then it’s got to be crazy
experiences. ‘BA’ was once out with a friend enroute Tamhini Ghat, Maharashtra, with their GoPros mounted on their helmets. On the way they happened to come across a lethal fight where a gang was pounding 2 guys. “They thought we captured them on cameras our cameras but the cams were off. We ended up being chased down by a White Toyota Fortuner and we quickly decided to hide in a restaurant nearby. We hid the bikes and fortunately got away! We were thrown stones at while we rode past them. That was a lucky getaway, just wish the cameras were on though!” says BA.
On being asked about his next ‘Dream’ bike, he says “I just bought the bike of my dreams; the Panigale! It has everything I want!” The other Inline 4 cylinder bikes don’t really catch his attention, if he was to buy another bike, it would have to be a V4 because he would choose a Supersport over any other type of motorcycle until his body gives way.
