Husqvarna Vitpilen cafe racer spotted

KTM has announced that that two Husqvarna Vitpilen motorcycles will be introduced internationally by 2017. Spyshots of the bike testing have leaked online and one can clearly see the bike! These spyshots were surprisingly very clear and give away the design of the bike completely.

The bike which was caught testing was a prototype model, with a temporary exhaust and temporary seat with minimal body styling. This bike is far from its final form, but we like where this is heading!

The test mules were probably completing engine and performance tests. Now, KTM will work on fine tuning the styling, the suspension and engine tuning. The bikes, codenamed as Vitpilen 401 (Based on the Duke 390) & Vitpilen 701 (Based on Duke 690) will be making its way to dealerships next year, with two more models to be added to the Vitplien series.

KTM plans to source engines & components for Husqvarna motorcycles from Bajaj’s facility at Chakan in India. This could very well make sense to sell these bikes in the Indian market as well.

Good times ahead for two-wheeler enthusiasts.
