KTM RC 200 Vs. Honda CBR250R
Want to buy a fully faired motorcycle to ride around town in style? But confused if you should buy the super sporty KTM RC 200 or the comfortable Honda CBR250R? Let us help you a little.
KTM’s RC 200 is a very light 200cc fully faired motorcycle. It almost weighs as much as a 150cc naked street fighter model. This gives it a very healthy power-to-weight ratio which helps it sprint from 0 very quickly. Similar to the Duke 200 in nature, the short gearing on the RC 200 is a lot of fun to play around.
The Honda on the other hand hasn’t really been a product to shout out about outright power. It’s subtle and understated. What’s most important that coupled with Honda’s bullet proof reliability and a comfortable ride, you can go touring with the CBR250R without having any second thoughts. With seats good enough to accommodate even those on the heavier side, this is surely a pick for those who don’t really want the aggressive supersport riding style.
The CBR250R with bigger engine capacity and slightly more power has a higher top end speed. But it is expensive too. But to counter the higher price, the Honda CBR can also be had with an optional C-ABS system.
