Rains are usually a boon in the summers and a curse by the end of it. People always have a love-hate relationship with the Monsoon season. However, there is one breed of people who absolutely LOVE the rains because of the challenge and adrenaline rush it offers; Bikers.

This breed will pounce on every opportunity thrown at them to go riding but they have a special soft corner for the Rains.

While the monsoon season is here with us, we thought we’d tell you a few reasons to crack open your throttle especially when it rains:

Adrenalin Gushes

Rain Riding

Wet roads, slippery surfaces and low traction is what some riders crave for to push their limits and to enhance their skills in the wet. With a risk of losing your grip on the road, it’s the adrenaline which keeps them going.

Here’s a quick checklist for getting your bike serviced before you head out in the rains!

Smell of the Rain

Rain Riding

For them who just cruise along and ride with no aggression all they enjoy is the cool breeze against their chest and the fragrance of the wet soil.

Chai & Sutta

Rain Riding

What goes better with the cold rains? A hot cup of tea in one hand and a cigarette and a Bhaji, vada-pav, or pakoda in the other, my oh my. Just the thought of that makes our mouth water.

Nature Trails

Rain Riding

As you ride along and leave the city limits, you’ll see some beautiful scenic views which you’d otherwise never see in the dry weather. An unexpected water fall, or wide spread grass lands are some things which appear seasonally.

You could drive to these 7 countries on your bike this monsoon!

Lasts for 1/3rd of a year, ONLY

Rain Riding

Some riders want to make the most out of the season; hence they hit the road whenever the weather forecast predicts a heavy shower. As they are aware, they would be riding on dry lands for the next 8 months, some just ride their most in the wet season as the climate is favorable and less rider fatigue is caused in this cool atmosphere.
