This is what the Honda CBR250RR could look like

The latest Honda CBR250RR’s rendered images have surfaced online. The bike, which was shown as a concept at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, is expected to hit showrooms sometime later this year. The production ready spec of the lightweight supersport will be displayed at the upcoming motor shows.

The rendered image surely gives the bike a sporty look. The patented headlamps have been featured on the bike and they definatly add an aggressive look. The bike is codenamed the ‘K64A’ and is expected to feature ABS, ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, etc.

Compared to the current quarter-litre Honda CBR, the new 250RR will be a track focussed motorcycle with a stiffer chassis, better suspension package, supersport seating position, higher revving motor, etc.

The bike is expected to cost anywhere between Rs. 3.5–4 lakh (ex-showroom) and is all set to give competition to he likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300 & Yamaha YZF-R3.

This development from Honda has created quite a stir in the industry with Yamaha and Kawasaki also rumoured to be working on a rival motorcycle.
