Lately, many are taking out their cars to commute, for the primary reason of getting shelter from hard sun and scorching heat. Major cities of India such as Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Ahmedabad etc. have recorded a temperature 40 degree Celsius. To add to that, Mumbai recently over took Delhi’s pollution numbers which helped shoot the temperature numbers by quite a few.

MiClimate

To overcome the trouble, an American based company is listening to the world. MiClimate have come up with a compact heat ventilating air conditioning device, which is so small and handy at the same time that it could be tucked/hooked on to your pockets, jackets or anywhere.. Just like a holster.

Idea of this machinery is to blow cold/hot air on to the rider’s upper body via a ventilated belt wrapped around and tucked under the rider’s jacket. Running with the concept of thermo-electric system, device is strong enough to bring down the temperature by 7 degree Celsius within the jacket, as well as can shoot up the inside temperature by 20 degree Celsius with respect to the surrounding temperature.

MiClimate is powered by lithium ion battery; also it could be powered by the 12 Volt DC battery of the motorcycle. Operated via a remote, connected wirelessly through Bluetooth, MiClimate has controls which could be mounted on the motorcycle as well as override switches on the device. Weighing just about 700 grams, it won’t be much trouble to carry the device around.

MiClimate

Currently the device, MiClimate is available only on pre-orders, costing $249 without the battery pack and $269 for the core unit with the 4hour running battery pack, which comes to about Rs. 18000 and Rs. 20000 including shipping respectively.

Beat the heat with super cool savings of flat 21% off & bikes starting from Rs 12,500!

Short comings of the device would be, to circulate air with in the tight wears of rider where the machine won’t back fire and heat up by itself cooling the upper body of the rider and giving away heat to the lower body.

But for the positive marketing of MiClimate, device is equipped with a USB charging port, handy for the riders to charge up their devices on the go.

For the summers we see in this country? We’re sure there are going to be a lot of Pre-Orders from India!
