This week is short, just like me. Also very educational, and I’m educational about events, so also kind of like me. If you haven’t realized it yet, but spring break is over, so if you are here to have a fun time, then this ain’t your week. So sit back, open up your calendars and let’s get planning!

Starting off on Tuesday, April 6th at 9am (PDT) Salesforce is circling back to Work.com in How to Empower IT to Deliver Modern Employee Experiences. After being rolled out during the pandemic to help companies deal with IT and returning to work related issues, Work.com is still here to help anyone work from anywhere around the world. If you are looking for ways for employees to increase productivity, resolve issues before they occur and scale employee services, then this webinar is for you!

Then at 11am (PDT) New Trends in Manufacturing: Insights from 750 Leaders on Future-Proofing their Business is going to talk about what it will take to succeed in the next decade for manufacturing. Salesforce surveyed 750 manufacturing leaders from around the world to identify the pandemics effects on the industry currently and to find out what effects will last. For those who want to learn how to drive business agility, need to adapt to the new landscape, and prepare for business in the next decade, then sign up!

Moving on to Wednesday, April 7th at 11am (PDT) we are learning How Community Colleges Can Digitally Transform. This event isn’t just for community colleges, but for any technical schools or 2 year institutions too! This event will talk about discovering “best practices for tackling challenges, accelerating innovation, and preparing for the future” and there will be a demo on Education Cloud afterwards.

Our final event in our short week is on Thursday, April 8th at 12pm (PDT). The Bellingham Salesforce Nonprofit User group is hosting their Virtual Meet-up and focusing on Rollups. This is a multi-part event, as this is Part 1, and over the next few sessions, this group plans on focusing on generating stats from your data. This month in particular they are focusing on Parent/ Child data models and discussing NPSP Customizable Rollups. This tool allows you to automatically calculate fundraising and financial stats without code! You do need to RSVP to get the zoom link, so make sure to register.

Recap

Last week the Gaming for Good podcast hosted the masterclass, Gaming for Good Live: Leveling Up in 2021, alongside Salesforce and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising to talk about best practices for digital fundraising by using gaming and streaming platforms. The Irvine, CA Salesforce Developer group was supposed to host a Release Review to give a quick overview of the new spring features, however this has been pushed to Tuesday, April 6th at 6pm (PDT). Leveraging Pandemic Investments to Improve Well-being in a Post COVID World taught those in the IT health profession how to capitalize on the new innovations, how to use existing resources and investments, and why this technology is still crucial. We got questions such as: what is the most effective channel in gaining new members, Einstein’s ability to predict which members will go inactive, what is the program NPS, what is member CSAT, and common characteristics loyal members share all answered in How to Boost Loyalty Member Activity with Actionable Insights.

Salesforce hosted Communications Cloud: What’s New in Spring Releases ’21 to talk about product capabilities that will help “effectively manage large, complex transactions, drive faster time to value, and seamlessly support acquisition and in-support subscriber processes.” Lastly, the Discovery Series, aka an AppExchange webinars series for partners, focused on how to interest Marketing, Product and Sales teams with your app, and tools you can use to align your strategies. Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know what your favorite event was!

Also, make sure to let us know if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud!
