Y’all might hate me this week, but EVERY SINGLE event is happening on Thursday, May 13th. Also, half of them occur at the same time. What are we going to do you ask? Well… we have to pick favorites unfortunately. So sit back, open up your calendar, and let’s get planning!

9:00 AM (PDT)

Success Anywhere World Tour: You’ve probably heard about the Success Anywhere Tour and if not, this event is for you to learn how Trailblazers use the Salesforce platform. The event is only an hour long — starting with a special Trailblazer interview and ending with a musical guest. There will be multiple guest speakers, but some of the guests haven’t been announced yet, so stayed tuned.

Combatting Digital Event Fatigue in 2021: Already based off of the title you know I’ll be attending this event! I found my 9am chosen one! This event is back by popular demand, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! I think everyone is still trying to keep their employees, and customers engaged with virtual events, but it can definitely be an uphill battle (trust me, I do this for a living). This will be a fireside chat event, featuring tech experts from the nonprofit and education sectors. You will find out how they shifted their events, got people to say yes to attending, and creating engaging experiences for everyone!

How Subscriptions are Driving Revenue Resilience: Starting off with a fun fact: did you know that 80% of revenue comes from the initial point of sale? Well now you do. But how do you keep customers coming back for more to increase your future revenue options? Well by attending this event, you will learn how “sales, finance, and operations can work together to support any business/ revenue model” and how to “change management strategies to successfully launch recurring revenue offerings.” Also, you’ll hear about the trends in recurring revenue and how that might impact your business.

10:00 AM (PDT)

Unlearn & Rethink: A Conversation on Leadership with Adam Grant: One of the world’s most known management speakers, Adam Grant, is joining Salesforce to talk about the power of unlearning and rethinking. You’ll hear stories and see how research has proven that by learning how to rethink, you will see positive changes in yourself and your team, which in turn has a positive chain reaction in terms of how your staff and clients react to it! This is a fireside chat session, so bring some s’mores (even if it’s 10am, who cares, you’ll still probably be wearing pj bottoms or sweat pants at this time anyways. Live a little).

3:30 PM (MDT)

Salt Lake City/ Utah County Admin Group Joint Meeting: This joint group meeting is covering 2 big topics this week: Summer ’21 Releases and TrailheaDX! They want to help you prep for the new Summer ’21 features, take a look at some of the highlights they think are important, and see some of the features in action. Also, they will be sharing how you can participate in TrailheaDX and any latest news and updates they have about it.

4:00 PM (MST)

The best things in life are… (Virtual): We are ending our busy Thursday with a chill event. The Phoenix, AZ Salesforce Developer group wants to share all of the free things you can do in Salesforce, and wants you to participate in the conversation too! It’s going to be a coffee-style type of share and tell discussion, but seeing that it starts at 4pm, maybe think about having lemonade, instead of coffee.

Recap:

Last week started bright and early with a Trail Together event — Trees to Combat Climate Change. This session exposed viewers to the Trees to Combat Climate Change badge and completed it right along with you. Then we learned about the 4 Secrets to Digital Customer Service Success to deliver a connected, end-to-end digital customer journey. We had another event in the Salesforce Shared Discovery series for partners: the Drive More Leads with Test Drive demonstrated how you can demo your apps customizable solutions to your buyers, converting more leads, reaching different audiences, and shortening your sales cycle.

The Salesforce Women in Tech group of San Diego, CA hosted Demystifying Cryptocurrency & How to Get Started to help answer questions on how to get started in the cryptocurrency world and gave you access to resources to research more about it on your own. Finally, we “ended” with dreamOle, but did this event actually happen?? Inquiring minds would like to know. Tweet us @mkpartners and let us know what your favorite event was!

Also, make sure to let us know if you think there are any events worth mentioning and what event you are excited about this upcoming week. And, as always, we will see you in the cloud!
