I have no jokes or puns for you this week, because these events are no joke. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are packed full with different types of events! You already know that I registered for a few of these. So sit back, open up your calendars and let’s get planning!

The Seattle, WA Salesforce Admin group, a group I usually mention in my posts, is having their Seattle Group Meeting early on Tuesday morning, March 9th. At 8am (PST) this two hour meeting will talk about designing lightning page layouts with dynamic forms and actions. The speaker will go over real life scenarios, and how dynamic forms and actions increase users productivity and simplify page layout maintenance. The first 30 minutes of the meeting will be dedicated to introductions, announcements, and sharing, so if you are new, don’t be shy to speak up!

Then at 9am (PST) the CIO of Ellevest and the CGO of Loop & Tie are joining Salesforce in How Inspiring Women Leaders Create Their Own Careers. This event is in honor of International Women’s Day and is here to bring some inspiration to your life! These leaders will give advice in long-term financial success, building a work-life balance, and utilizing mentorship and sponsorship to build your career.

If you are wondering how myTraihead can help your sales team then you should consider this event! At 11am (PST) How to Increase Sales Rep Productivity and Hit Quota Faster with myTrailhead will cover topics such as onboarding reps quickly, efficiently managing sales processes, skilling up easily, and tying training to the bottom line, all of which can be done in myTrailhead.

As I mentioned last week, we still had two more events left in the Grow with Us series for Salesforce Partners! Both of these events occur on Wednesday, March 10th. The Grow with Financial Services begins at 10:30am (PST) and the Grow with Commercial starts at 12pm (PST). All seven sessions will have a repeat session later on in March if you couldn’t make it to the previous five or can’t make it to the remaining two. Remember all of these sessions will give an organization update, an industry overview and a Q&A session to end the event.

Moving on to our last day of events for this week, we have Uncovering the Online Giving Experience: A Mystery Donor’s Perspective at 9am (PST). Salesforce went undercover and decided to become a “secret shopper”, or a “secret donor” in this case, to over 600 companies across the world. They found that “20% of the time, the mystery donor was not able to complete a donation at all” because the page was either stuck loading, and the site kept stating that something went wrong, on top of other reasons. If you are a nonprofit and are curious about learning more about what Salesforce found and how you can prevent this from happening to your organization, then you should consider signing up!

The Bellingham Nonprofit User group is hosting their Nonprofit Admin Meet-up at 12pm (PST) (also a group I mention often). This time around they have a guest speaker, Beth Saunders, talking about using Salesforce with data driven engagement. And let me tell you they have a lot to talk about! They are starting off with the concept of the engagement pyramid, moving donors higher up in terms of engagement levels, strategies to make this happen, a third party app that can help with this and some of the Salesforce features that can also assist with this. This meeting is for anyone in the nonprofit sector, including Admins and Devs.

Also at 12pm (PST) the Sacramento, CA Women in Tech group is having Sac Lunch: A Casual Conversation with the Sacramento WIT group. Y’all know me by now and I love ending the week with something casual, easy and a chance to chit chat/ network. They literally state in the description to grab your lunch or take a walk when you join the meeting, so what more could you want (except to meet in person)?!

Recap

Last week was a short week, but the Grow with Salesforce series still had a handful of events during the week! Five out of the seven sessions took place and those were: Grow with Communication, Media & Tech, Growing with Marketing Cloud, Grow with Retail, Consumer Goods & Commerce Cloud, Grow with Healthcare & Life Sciences and Grow with Enterprise — Energy, Utilities & Chemical. Salesforce Managers hosted a Deep Dive: Customer Success Group’s Spring ’21 Release, which talked about the Spring ’21 release tips, tricks, and best practices! They also talked about enchanted self-guided tools, new assurance service offerings, the new and improved Success Plans, and many more tools, resources and expert services.

In Introducing Einstein Recommendation Builder: Bring AI-Power Recommendations Into Every Workflow we learned how to “improve business outcomes with access to real-time personalized recommendations” and “build intelligent recommendations fast using point-and-click interface.”
