Three self-proclaimed teen Satanists believed the devil would make their band “go professional” if they sacrificed a virgin. The brutal murder of Elyse Pahler illustrates that some people will do nearly anything in hopes of getting what they want.
Who was Elyse Pahler?
Elyse Pahler was a 15-year-old aspiring actress. She was described as “happy-go-lucky” and led a life of activity between her sports, theatre ambitions, and church.
However, Elyse experimented with both alcohol and marijuana. Her parents enrolled her in a recovery program at Mariposa Community Recovery Center.
It was during her recovery that Elyse met Jacob Delashmutt, one of her soon to be murderers.
