It was a no-brainer for Wendi Mae Davidson
Wendi Mae Davidson was a typical Texan woman from a typical Texan town. Her family was church-going people with a large farm and lots of animals. Wendi loved them so much that she wanted to spend her life around them.
Now, Wendi was bright and multi-talented. She was good at sports, studies, and extra-curricular activities. People always believed she would grow up to be a wildly successful woman as a vet.
Alas, fate had other plans.
Mike Severance
Mike was from Maine, USA. He was an outdoorsy guy who loved playing sports. After school, he wanted to become a truck driver hauling logs. But his father encouraged him to experience the world.
So, Mike enlisted in the Air Force.
After multiple successful deployments, Mike was promoted to Staff Seargent. He was tasked with transporting supplies and men to Afghanistan from the Air Force base in Texas.
The beginning of the end
In 2003, Wendi and Mike met at a bar, connecting instantly. One thing led to another, and they got pregnant.
