John Holmes was a complicated person. A notorious porn star. He also left a legacy of drugs, prostitution, and murder when he died.

There was more to the man though. Holmes valued loyalty. Even when he didn’t follow it himself. He worked to protect those that he loved. The world’s most famous porn star wanted to be an everyday person. But the industry he worked in would not allow that.

As with a lot of people who experience fame, Holme began abusing drugs. The addiction would lead him to make decisions that would alienate loved ones.

It also led to his decision to plan a heist with a group of friends. Their target was a well-known acquaintance in the criminal world. And fear led him to allow that victim of that crime to commit one much more horrific.
